Lovely house in a wonderful location. Set in a side street just a 2 minute walk from the center of Mevagissey, but even at 'peak tourist' it is quiet and peaceful. The house has been furnished to a high standard with lovely decor and was clean throughout. Would stay again and not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Pretty cottage equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay to feel like home (or even better). Shops, restaurants, harbour, hiking trails and long stay car park can be reached in a minute.

We had a wonderful time at Chapel Cottage. It was warm and cosy with all mod cons. You have decorated and furnished it to such a high standard, the beds were comfy and the bedding soft and of lovely quality as were the towels. Our son was thrilled the cottage had superfast Broadband and Wifi as he had taken his PS4 so he could play with his friends (it was better than home!!). Milo - our dog - really appreciated the dog biscuits, as much as we appreciated the welcome pack. The generous amount of coat hangers was great, so often you struggle with a few between all of you! Condiments, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea and sugar to hand and foil already there were useful until we were able to stock up.....simple things which make a difference.
Considering how central the cottage was, it was very quiet and peaceful, we really enjoyed leaving the car on Sunny Corner car park and being able to wander around Mevagissey. The information you gave us regarding the car parks was very useful, we pre-booked for the week for £40 and never failed to get a space, and the attendant was great.
We were also glad to see that you supported many of the Mevagissey businesses by buying their goods to decorate the cottage :)

Chapel Cottage is a delightful base from which to explore Mevagissey and the surrounding coastline and countryside.
Down a quiet little side street, close to the harbour, you can park your car in the car park and forget about it. We walked around the harbour, ate in the restaurants, strolled through the streets, looked at the shops, and enjoyed take away fish and chips from one of the best chippys I've ever been to
We stayed at Chapel Cottage for 5 days and just wished we could have stayed there forever. It was so comfortable and cosy. The owners, Zoa and Dean, have spared nothing to make it welcoming and Zoa was very helpful with a couple of issues we had with parking etc. She sorted it all out for us.
The kitchen was well equipped, (I've never seen so many teaspoons), plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Even though the Cottage is pet friendly there was no evidence of animals having been there. They had gone to a lot of trouble to ensure that the Cottage was friendly and inviting for everyone's needs. We loved it!
When we go back to Mevagissy we will definitely stay at Chapel Cottage. That's if there are any weeks available. I should think it will be in high demand.

We stayed here for a family break at Easter 2017. The cottage was great with really comfy beds and well equipped kitchen. Lots of places to shop, eat and drink nearby.
Great location for walking the coast path and for visiting Heligan whilst the Rhododendrons were in bloom. We walked there from the cottage up through the valley.
A lovely cottage in a nice location. Hope to go back next year!
